A culture of Compliance & Ethics
Code of Ethics
The Board of Directors and management of United Way of the Southern Tier are committed to upholding the highest standards of ethics and conduct and promoting a culture of compliance and ethics throughout the organization.
Our success and reputation depend upon the ethical conduct of every staff, representative and volunteer. While no document can anticipate all challenges that may arise, the Code of Ethics communicates key guidelines and will assist us in making good decisions.
Because you trust us with your gifts, we consider it our chief responsibility to ensure that we are operating ethically, effectively and transparently. Each year, United Way of the Southern Tier is audited by an independent accounting firm and has consistently received an unqualified opinion letter.
In this section, you will find copies of our three most recent years of audited financial statements and tax filings (IRS Form 990). You may also obtain copies of these reports by contacting us at 607-936-3753.
