United Ways Offer Hope and Help in Response to Disasters

As of October 4, the United Way Network has raised more than $59.35 million for mid- and long-term recovery efforts related to disaster relief.

United Way created the United Way Disaster Recovery Funds to support local communities affected by hurricanes Harvey, Irma/Maria, and the earthquake in Mexico. As a part of our mission to build stronger communities, and to fight for the health and safety of every person in every community, the national fund will complement local efforts and provide a single clearinghouse for individual and corporate donors who want to impact all affected areas. Those wishing to contribute can select to specific disasters, or direct funds to where they are needed most.
