United Way of the Southern Tier Welcomes 7 New Board Members

March 25, 2021:

United Way of the Southern Tier today welcomed seven new members to its Board of Directors.

The new members are: Mary Meisner and Monica Ridosh of Chemung Canal Trust Company; Mike Burns and Katie Cervoni of Corning Incorporated; Warren Roman of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 139; and Deb Montrose and Nate Pizzini of Kennedy Valve.

“We are pleased to welcome these seven new volunteers who are joining United Way of the Southern Tier at such a critical time as our community continues to rebuild and recover from COVID-19,” said United Way President & CEO Stephen M. Hughes. “Many people in Chemung and Steuben counties have experienced job loss, hunger and other hardships in the past year. United Way is built for these times and is proud to add this group of like-minded individuals to our board to help raise up the Southern Tier.”

United Way of the Southern Tier’s board is made up of community members who volunteer their time and, collectively and individually, are entrusted with the mission of the organization.
