United Way of the Southern Tier online auction opens

April 9, 2024:

United Way of the Southern Tier’s online auction fundraiser features a Buffalo Bills autographed mini helmet, a New York Giants Team Collector's Football, a NASCAR package at Watkins Glen International, and other amazing items donated by local businesses and individuals.

The mini helmet is signed by Buffalo Bills running back James Cook and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

The New York Giants football is one of only 1,000 made and features the autograph of each member of the 2023 team.

The NASCAR package includes premium RV parking for the 2024 race weekend at Watkins Glen International and four passes to the Jack Daniel’s Club.

Proceeds from the auction will go to programs supporting children, senior citizens, and people in need in Chemung and Steuben counties.

• A 2-night stay in a junior suite at the Radisson Hotel Corning. The package includes a dinner at Grill1-2- 5 and breakfast for both days.
• A membership in Finger Lakes Distilling Co.’s Thief & Mallet Club, featuring premium spirits, cocktails, and more.
• Golf packages from Corning Country Club, Elmira Country Club, and Tioga Downs Casino Resort.
• Spa treatments and gift certificates from AgeLess Spa, infusIVe Hydration & Wellness and Carapella Chiropractic.
• A boat cruise for two on Keuka Lake and admission to the Finger Lakes Boating Museum, the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum, the National Soaring Museum, and Wings of Eagles Discovery Center.

Bids can be placed until 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, the night of United Way’s Annual Awards Dinner, which will be held at the Corning Museum of Glass.

Winning bidders can pick up their items at the end of the dinner or arrange pickup for another time. Bidders do not have to attend the dinner to win auction items.
