July 13, 2026:

United Way of the Southern Tier is proud to welcome three new members to its Board of Directors.

Joining the board are:
• Nick Ahearn, membership development representative for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 139;
• Garret Callahan, store manager of Wegmans in Corning;
• Dan Meisner, head of site functions at Siemens Energy in Painted Post.

Ahearn will serve the remainder of the unfinished term of IBEW Local 139 Business Manager Warren Roman. Callahan and Meisner are starting their first three-year terms.

Board members are volunteers who give their time and expertise to support the mission of United Way to unite and prioritize resources to improve the quality of life for every person and every family in our community.

In addition to the new and existing members, United Way of the Southern Tier is grateful for the service of the following directors who have recently left the board: Monica Ridosh of Elmira, and Warren Roman.
