In her new role Karen will be responsible for fundraising, including workplace campaigns, volunteer coordination and direct mail efforts. She will also assist with public relations and event planning.

Karen most recently worked as a sales representative at WETM-TV in Elmira. She had previously worked at the Star-Gazette, where she was a Loaned Executive for United Way for several years.

Karen is an active volunteer with numerous civic organizations including the Chemung County Chamber of Commerce where she serves on the Leadership Chemung and Member Services Committees.
