July 27, 2026:

United Way of the Southern Tier and Corning Credit Union will hold a free children’s Bike Safety Rodeo as part of the Tour de Keuka charity bike ride at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 1, at the Hammondsport Fire Station grounds.

Children will learn about basic bicycle safety rules and participate in a scavenger hunt. Participants must bring their own bicycle and wear a bike helmet.

Registration is free and is requested in advance. 

Registration is limited to 60 participants. If spots remain, registration will also be available on-site the day of the event.

Tour de Keuka, sponsored by Kennedy Valve, is an annual charity bike ride around Keuka Lake to benefit programs supported by United Way of the Southern Tier.

Tour de Keuka cyclists come from across the United States to participate, riding distances of 45, 60 or 100 miles. Each rider commits to raise at least $150 for United Way of the Southern Tier.
